Warm, well-structured, humus soils with a pH of 6.5-7.8 are recommended for the cultivation of beans. Beans are sensitive to deficiencies of: molybdenum, iron, manganese and copper. If soil analysis has not been performed, the number of mineral fertilizers per hectare at the sites in the first year after applying manure should be: 50-70 kg N, 60-85 kg P2O5, 80-120 kg K2O.
