How does EKOPLON use personal data?

Personal information is, for example, name, address, date of birth or a bank account number. EKOPLON collects the aforementioned personal data of persons who, for example, send us e-mails, contact us for commercial purposes, send us information in the form of letters or messages to our employees. At the same time, we collect personal data in the context of establishing potential business relations with our contractors.

What personal data does EKOPLON process?

We may collect and process the following types of personal data:

We collect names, last names, titles, address forms, gender information, postal addresses, e-mail addresses and specific information related to e.g. inquiries or applications (CVs) submitted through recruitment websites.

In order to handle inquiries or complaints we also process personal data collected by phone and enter it into our database.

Personal data collected during the recruitment process

In the recruitment process we use only the data that is necessary for the employment process. This includes: name and last name, address, date of birth, e-mail address, telephone number, reasons for applying to EKOPLON, CV, letters of reference, data on the nature of assessments.

How we collect data in EKOPLON

We collect the data of persons who purchase our products, leave their contact details on our website (by means of contact forms), apply to work in EKOPLON using our website, subscribe to our newsletter, participate in our competitions or promotional activities.

The objectives of collecting personal data in EKOPLON

EKOPLON processes personal data:

in order to perform contracts and maintain current relations with customers, suppliers and other relevant persons, in order to update their data and fulfil the obligations arising from concluded contracts–maintaining the abovementioned relations is necessary for conducting our business activity,

in order to carry out settlements with contractors – data concerning payments, liabilities, VAT invoices, bank accounts, which is necessary to perform concluded agreements,

due to the need to establish business relations and carry out marketing activities. We do this through our website, using the forms therein. This goal is also achieved by our employees who carry out trade visits – such activities are necessary to maintain business activity,

in order to conduct analyses concerning the quality of services and products, the quality of work of our organizational units,

in order to carry out the recruitment processes – for this purpose we use website and recruitment process management software.

EKOPLON protects stored data

We have taken and are taking the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss or illegal use. We train our employees in data protection. Personal data is stored by Ekoplon for as long as required for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy or to the extent necessary to comply with laws and regulations and to resolve disputes.

Rights of persons (Users) whose personal data we process:

consent, opt-out, cancellation of subscription and rights to object,

user's opt-out, at any time, from receiving marketing e-mails (newsletter),

to exercise their rights under applicable data protection legislation, including the right to access their data, the right to correct their personal data, the right to erase their personal data, the right to limit the processing of their data, the right to transfer their data and the right to object to the processing of their data.
