Turkey Pionier Program

The idea of feeding young birds in the Turkey Pionier program is based on the use of animal protein in the initial stages of rearing. This has a positive effect on the growth and development of young turkeys, as well as their health and behavior. The key to nutrition is the optimal balance of digestible amino acids. These are the compounds every protein in nature is made of.

In fact, their level and mutual relations are the keys to maintaining proper gains in muscle mass. The level of total protein itself is only a derivative of this balance, and too high a proportion may cause health problems. An extremely important factor is the ratio of energy level to the protein level, as well as its source. The thorough selection of energy ingredients, the diversification of the types of fats used and the multi-point feeding of fat in the production process ensure the most optimal blend parameters and excellent durability of the granulate.

The first 72 hours of birdlife are crucial for the production result that will be obtained later on. The aim is to provide turkeys with as much easily digestible feed as possible, containing all the necessary ingredients for proper growth and development. The ideal structure of the feed is important here; it can only be achieved with modern granulation equipment and new technologies, e.g. the production of microgranules. Microgranules are eagerly eaten by young birds at the beginning of rearing and eliminate the risk of too large a diameter of feed particles. This ensures that the correct proportion of nutrients contained in the feed is taken.
